B. New York City.
The B. New York City incubator provides a soft landing for international startups ready to enter the American market. The 140,000 sq. ft facility is New York City’s first official incubator for international startups, located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This was officially announced in September 2016 by the New York City deputy mayor Alicia Glen. B. New York City works with both international and local (governmental) partners.
B. New York City will be a true global hub in NYC, combining elements of a co-working space, incubator, accelerator, school and community center. It will target companies that are growing dynamically and expanding across continents. More specifically, the main focus will be on (a) international companies that want to enter the US market and establish operations in New York and (b) American companies that aim to expand their operations to the European market.
Our mission is to continuously develop the best startup ecosystem to help our members and partners innovate, grow and let their business flourish. B. is uniquely positioned to bridge the immense potentials of the NYC and European entrepreneur communities and is excited to build out B. New York City as its flagship location in the US.
Our goal is to help the most promising European startups scale into the American market and vice versa. To achieve this, B. New York City will go far beyond offering flexible office space to tech companies. Additionally, B. New York City will offer a comprehensive suite of services to help companies grow and succeed, while making sure that their growth has a positive impact on the environment and local communities.
B. New York City ensures that European startups making the move to the US, via New York, can scale faster, easier and more cost- ef ciently. This is done by offering a (tailor-made) soft landing package, which simplifies the US expansion process and provides the right services and expertise needed to successfully enter and scale into the US market.
