What are you going to do?

As an event manager, you are responsible for the planning and coordination of innovative events. Both commercial events and events related to the start-up scene. You will have your own portfolio with your own clients. You naturally work on a strong customer relationship. Team events is successful with more than 1250 events annually. They work closely together in a fun and vibrant environment. As our new event manager talent, you are responsible for achieving optimum preparation, execution, and experience of the events. Some tasks:

  • intensive collaboration with various internal B. amsterdam departments such as food & beverage, our lounges, restaurant Bureau, team rent & community and team brand
  • to be the point of contact for customers before, during and after the event
  • expanding existing customer relationships
  • requesting all necessary products from suppliers
  • co-developing ideas for arrangements
  • selecting and monitoring the quality of events
  • to respond accurately to questions, problems, and complaints during and after the end of the events
  • taking care of the entire process from preparation and realization up to the settlement and administrative handling of the event

All about you:

  • you preferably have 1-3 years of working experience in the catering and events industry and are interested in organizing events
  • professional & responsible enough to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic start-up and tech innovative atmosphere
  • fluently in Dutch and English & HBO or WO diploma
  • an outgoing and confident personality
  • a problem-solving attitude, customer oriented, commercial driven and can-do mentality
  • super social, always flexible and incredibly motivated
  • like to work in an inspiring, innovative and startup scene environment
  • strong organizational, administrative and time management skills with an attention to detail
